It was ranked as one of the world’s most livable cities by Economic Intelligence Unit survey. Its tram network, diverse and multicultural society, Victorian parks & gardens brought fame to the city. It was the host of sporting events like 1956 Summer Olympics and 2006 Commonwealth Games. The hotels in Melbourne make it comfortable to visit this city.

Melbourne has a great look when looked along side the Yarra River. There is a grand building called Windsor Hotel surviving from the 1880s. The ICI House which is a powerful symbol of Olympic City’s modern aspirations was commenced in 1955. Port Phillip’s beaches offer home for recreational activities. The Royal Arcade is the shopping mall for both locals and tourists. An accommodation in Melbourne is very much needed for a pleasant tour of this city.

The climate in Melbourne is notable for changing weather conditions. But it has a moderate oceanic climate. There is a popular phrase about its weather – four seasons in one day – which can be observed by many visitors to the city. There have been lesser snowfalls but the winter gets frosts and fogs.
