Do not wonder what this Harbour City is? The city of Sydney in Australia is located along south-eat coast around Port Jackson. Port Jackson has the Sydney Harbour and that is the reason why Sydney is been nicknamed as the Harbour City.

Sydney is the state capital of New South Wales and has largest population in cities of Australia. Its metropolitan population is about 4.2 million. The city is the largest financial and economic center of Australia. Tourism in Sydney is one of the leading economic sectors of the city along with property, manufacturing and health services. It is the international gateway of Australia and a major tourist attraction in the Australia. The hotels in Sydney make it comfortable to visit this city.

Sydney’s most notable attractions include the most famous Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. It has many beaches for recreational activities. There are biggest museums like Australian Museum, the Powerhouse Museum, the Art Gallery of New South Wales, the Museum of Contemporary Art etc. The open spaces are Chinese Garden of Friendship, Hyde Park, The Domain and the Royal Botanical Gardens.
